Yes, the scrool appears empty but it is not, and what Haru meant by ( she didn't change) is ,, Kumiko has the habit of coding her letters so that no one but the recipent is able to read it ..

Edit: decoding takes only a drop of recipent blood ^^

Haru knows that and he is used to it..
I guess he is pleased that she is still the same person even when they are that far apart

and since Haru kept ignoring Kumiko's letters for so long, and because it contained the reports she submits from Konoha, and becasue work is work XD Gara had to ask Haru to read the scrool right infront of him ,becasue he wouldn't be able to see teh contents even if he wanted ^^

(yeah~ you won''t belive how far a girl would go to protect her privacy XD )


as of why is Haru ignoring Kumiko's letters , is something you will find out in the upcoming chapter ..stay tuned
